Hawaiian Airlines

Hawaiian Airlines is a major carrier based in the United States, with its headquarters located in Honolulu, Hawaii. Founded in 1929, it is the state of Hawaii's largest and longest-serving airline.
The airline's reputation is built on its commitment to Hawaiian culture which appeals to both tourists and local residents. While it may not be as large as some of the major U.S. carriers like American, Delta, or United, Hawaiian Airlines plays a crucial role in serving the travel needs of Hawaii, making it a significant and respected presence in the American airline industry.
I worked with them in 2023 with CarTrawler to integrate car hire into their website flight booking path. They brought many new challenges for us to test on the CarTrawler product which, at the time, was only beginning to make inroads into North America.
One of the main challenges with this project I faced was CarTrawler’s flight path product was still very new to the North American market.
One of the requirements needed from Hawaiian Airlines was a form to capture main driver details, as well as their HawaiianMiles number, so that the correct customer could be credited with the awarded miles.
